Families and generations
Discover how residents, households and life events shape a lasting city

ORYANDA models households and individual residents, not only anonymous resource numbers. Residents have names, daily activities, roles, energy, rest, happiness and their own history in the city. Your city can develop across generations.
Residents have a game-world age and a life stage. Households can form family relationships, and the genealogy system records parent links and generations where those relationships exist. The game also records resident life events for historical continuity.
As game time moves forward, people may change life stage, pursue education, take on roles, retire, encounter health changes, or reach the end of their lifespan. These are game-simulation outcomes, not a reflection of real-world medical advice or predictions.
Housing, food availability, education, work and civic activities form part of daily life. Review the population and family panels when you want to understand what is happening to your residents. The development of future generations rewards attentive city planning rather than treating every worker as an endlessly interchangeable unit.
