Research and the Academy

The Academy supports several research branches. The base catalog includes Prosperity (economy), Military Doctrine (warfare) and Navigation (logistics). Research can affect production, military performance and voyages.

Later branches include AI Foundations, Compute Architecture, Chip Engineering, Military AI, Naval AI, Economic AI, Intelligence AI and Counter-AI. Research often requires earlier research levels and a sufficiently developed Academy.

Open each research detail before starting it: source-defined prerequisites, level limits and costs determine whether it can begin. Completing research changes the active world-specific kingdom progress; progress from another world does not carry across automatically.
