Walls and gates are central defenses, but they work with the rest of your city. Pay attention to the entrances, stationed units and how your settlement can respond when another force approaches.

Investing everything in soldiers can starve the economy that replaces casualties. Investing only in production can make valuable stock an attractive target. Use a balanced plan based on the world around you.

Watch relevant notifications and protection status. The server enforces gate ownership, movement restrictions and mission requirements; the visual view you select does not bypass those rules.
